Getting
GOOD campground and RV park reviews is sometimes a challenge. With
all the ads and promotions out there, sometimes cutting through the
advertising can be tricky.
Here is a list of sites that we believe will provide you with good, simple, honest reviews.
How
can you stay connected on the road? There are many
services available out there, and we've tried several of
them. You can rely on WiFi services as you travel, but
we've found that you can't always count on them. We
also don't like the lack of security that most WiFi services
have.
The
good news is that you do have some options. Wireless
cards, for example, are an economical and hassle-free
solution. However, many air cards have limited or no
service in more rural areas. We've opted for a
satellite internet service. We like the idea of
knowing that we will never be without an internet
connection.
Just
because you're in an RV, doesn't mean you can't bring a few
hobbies along with you. Many RVers are avid
photographers, writers, and explorers. Whatever your
hobby is, bring at least a little part of with you while you
travel.
If
you're in the market for your first RV, let us give you some
advice. The most important thing you can do before you
buy is to do your research. The internet is a
great source of information for researching RV data.
We'll soon be writing an in-depth article on this matter, so
check back with us shortly! In the mean time, check out
these sites for information.
There's
some good material available for all types of RVers.
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned veteran, we've found
these books and sites resourceful.
Ever start running low on gas or fuel and start wondering how much
further you had to drive to find a service station? Ever get to
that service station and find that there's no way that you'll ever get
in there - or get out? We've been there, done that, and learned
the hard way so now we stick to truck stops!
Don't be fooled! Not all insurance is alike. We've seen it happen
before... a fellow RVer's awning goes 'swish' in the wind and guess what - it's
not covered on their insurance!! The best advice we can give you on this
topic is to make sure that you get RV specific insurance. Many mainstream
insurance companies won't cover water damage, awnings, or other major RV
components. Our recommendations are listed below for your review.

many opportunities to work while still enjoying the RV
lifestyle. Check out some of the useful links we've
found for you.
